My alternator recently went on my talon. Im trying to it removed, im following the instructions from a haynes manual. Which states that you unbolt the power steering pump and put it off to the side. The only problem is when I loosen on of the bolts, it hits the pulley. I was also wondering if, I can just loosen the alternator mounting bolts and then take off the belt along with the alternator.

All my stock speakers are making cracking noises and they eventually stop playing. And when I crank it to a safe 30(Vol.) 30 out of 60 (Vol.) they would stop playing and I would hear alot of distortion in the sound from all the speakers (cracking noises). I'm guessing I blew up the speakers even though I carfully tuned the settings on the radio to be what I would ...

Today I opened up my ecu to see if it was an eprom, the sticker on the case says its an eprom but I was just making sure. So I open it up and it's not an eprom board, now I'm kinda upset because I won't be able to get dsmlink. I was think of upgrading my fuel system via walbro 255 and maybe a 3in megan downpipe and afpr and getting link sometime during the summer. Right now I would be looking at around $850 for link and around $300 for the fuel stuff. What do you guys think I should do?

-Should I?

-What is the process of taking the old ones off and installing the new ones? By hitting the tip with a hammer and forcing them out and then hitting the head to force them in?

-Will anything need to be sent out to the machine shop? line honing? (Im really trying to avoid this)

There are a few fixes for this problem you can either buy dsmlink or get your ecu socket with a keydiver chip. What would be the best solution for this? The keydiver would probily cost around $200 and you get alot of features. Dsmlink would cost around $750 all said and done, but you get a better tuning capability.
